The rooms were absolutely spotless, it was like walking into a dream. The owners were incredibly accommodating, even staying up late to greet us. The staff were so friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable. Despite some reviews mentioning it's far from the center, the walk was actually quite pleasant and only took us around 10 to 17 minutes. Plus, the peaceful setting still had a few bars and restaurants nearby. For daytrips, using Grab was a breeze. a fantastic place to stay in. The value for money was outstanding.

Spent my entire vacation at the airport because their car was so convenient for going anywhere. Got pampered at their beauty salon too. I had a blast exploring local attractions like a pro!
Oh, I just loved everything so much, I couldn't find anything to dislike!

I had a fantastic stay at this charming guesthouse. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I loved having the little house all to myself. The woman who manages the place is incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The breakfast was substantial and varied each day, a pleasant surprise compared to other places I've stayed in Thailand. The location, although slightly outside the town center, offered a quieter and more authentic Thai experience. I highly recommend Saithong House for a memorable stay in Chiang Mai.

The early check-in and flexible breakfast made me feel like royalty. Bonus bathroom upgrade meant I pranced around like a queen with my private throne.
Oh, how delightful it was to leisurely wander around searching for the guesthouse, with confused taxi drivers as my amusing guides. Good times!

I had a blast being chauffeured around in the hotel's own car, and I even got to visit a beauty salon! Plus, the location was great for exploring local attractions and the property had all the amenities I needed.
Oh, and just a teeny tiny inconvenience - I couldn't get hot water in the shower. So refreshing to start the day with an icy blast!

I had the most incredible time staying here! The peace and quiet were absolutely mind-blowing, and having the entire little house to myself was jaw-dropping. The living space was super nice and perfect for working all day. The woman who runs the place is unbelievably nice and goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort. The room itself was spacious and although not brand new, it was incredibly cozy. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and gave me the perfect start to my day. this place is a hidden gem that feels more like a cozy bed and breakfast than a typical guesthouse. Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming guesthouse. The breakfasts were delicious and filling, giving me the energy I needed to start my day exploring the city. The staff was always attentive and went out of their way to help me with anything I needed. I appreciated being able to use the bicycles provided by the guesthouse, which made getting around Chiang Mai so much easier. The room was spacious and clean, and I felt right at home in the cozy atmosphere. The location was perfect, a short walk away from both the bustling city center and the convenient train station. Saithong House provided everything a budget traveler like me could ask for.
My stay at Saithong House felt just like being at home, and there was really nothing to complain about. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish.

the most pleasant surprise was the spacious and comfortable family room we got instead of the double we booked. Three queen beds and a lounge area! Plus, the owners were so lovely, even though they didn't speak English. They made us feel welcome and even used Google Translate to communicate. The location was great too, with a grog shop just a minute away.

The standout feature at this guesthouse is the beauty salon. It's like having a personal glam squad at your fingertips, making you feel like a celebrity! The experienced staff worked their magic, transforming me into a red-carpet-ready star. I left feeling absolutely fabulous!

We had a wonderful stay at a guesthouse in Chiang Mai. The room was spacious and airy, with insect screens on the windows. The comfortable bed and good simple breakfast made our mornings enjoyable. The air conditioning worked well, and we found the fridge in the room to be very useful. We loved the Thai decor and the abundance of plants throughout the guesthouse. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcomed. We would definitely stay here again. Additionally, the guesthouse's proximity to a military base, while initially surprising, became something we easily adapted to during our six-day stay.
Hard to think of anything 😅

During my Xmas stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly staff at this hotel. They made me feel truly welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. I particularly loved the free breakfast that was provided every morning, as well as the complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day. Another advantage was the relaxing outdoor area where I could unwind and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.
One drawback was that the location felt a bit remote and far from the city center. However, this was easily resolved by taking a tuk-tuk, which only cost 30 B/person and quickly transported me to the main attractions.
Tourists from United Kingdom often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
